How the journal works

Forza Horizon 6 splits its long-haul progression into two journals. The Horizon Festival journal is the classic festival grind (racing, bonus boards, speed traps, skills) and every Horizon point you earn there pushes your wristband up a colour, from Rookie all the way to the gold Horizon Legend band. Discover Japan is the exploration journal: discover locations, smash mascots, build your car collection, deliver food in Tokyo and chase touge races to earn Discover Japan points and collect stamps from Tourist up to Master Explorer.

Each category has its own point total (shown above, straight from the game), and every single challenge is named with its real in-game title: the event (Pier Pressure), the car to own (BMW 850CSi), the location to discover (Akihabara Electric Town), the mascot and region (Onigiri 20, Ito) or the PR stunt and star tier (Okishinaimura, 1 Star). Expand any category to tick them off.

The tracker on this page is saved in your browser only, no account, nothing leaves your device. Per-tier point thresholds aren't stored in the game files we read, so the rank ladder is shown for reference rather than as a live "current rank".
